Crawl space Insulation

High humidity in a crawl space can cause moisture to condense on the crawl space insulation under the home. With enough weight, the insulation will droop and eventually fall, creating a problem in your crawl space.

Why do I need to insulate under my home?

Insulating under your home can help reduce energy costs and improve the comfort of your home.  Crawl space Insulation works by preventing heat from escaping from your home in the winter and from entering your home in the summer.

What is R-value?

R-value is a measure of how well insulation resists heat flow. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation’s ability to resist heat flow.

R-value is measured in units of “per inch.” For example, an R-13 insulation batt has an R-value of 13 per inch. This means it will resist heat flow 13 times better than an inch of air.
