Kevin Sanders

Owner

Kevin founded Dry Otter Waterproofing in 2013. Having 20 years of waterproofing experience at the time, Kevin was determined to pave his own way and create his own company in the waterproofing industry. Kevin has an excellent team so now he can spend a little more time enjoying the things he loves such as playing cornhole, kayak fishing, or watching his son play at AAU basketball tournaments. In addition to his many hobbies, Kevin also serves on the Lincoln County School Board. Kevin now celebrates over 10 years in business, 30 years of experience, and ownership of a company to be proud of.

Mark Johnston

Owner
Mark provides advice and mentoring to the Dry Otter team. With 18 years of residential waterproofing experience, he has worked in all aspects of the business from inspections, sales, install, and operations. Mark and his wife enjoy traveling the country visiting National Parks in their Airstream, and spending time with their family and grandchildren.

Lorissa Ford

Production Manager
Starting out as a customer care representative, Lorissa has expanded her role to production manager. Her dedication to ordering supplies, scheduling work, and managing crews is vital. Lorissa loves anything outdoors. She golfs, fishes, and hunts. A Lincoln county native, she currently resides in Iron Station with her family and two Labradors

Marketing Director

Erin is the Marketing Director at Dry Otter Waterproofing and a former science educator. She enjoys crafting, hunting for vintage thrifts, and cherishing moments with her husband and little boy. Erin stays at the forefront of AI-driven marketing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to educate and engage audiences on everything from nature to maintaining a dry foundation.

Wendy Sanders

Accountant
Wendy brings great experience from her former career in finance in the car sales industry. She not only manages the company’s assets but is also an asset to the company. Wendy is Kevin’s wife and together they have a son. The family is always dedicated to the sports he plays and anything that will benefit his future.

Carmyn is a Charlotte native with 30+ years of customer service experience.  She is an avid flamingo lover and surrounds herself with as many dogs as she can afford.

Heather’s warm and friendly attitude brings great service to all our customers. Heather has two sons and loves to watch them play baseball. Heather is also a Lincoln County native and Lincolnton resident.

Kristin has over a decade of marketing experience and strives to be creative, uplifting, and optimistic in all that she does- including while working here at Dry Otter. Kristin has one daughter and enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and meeting new people.

Jenna brings creativity and enthusiasm to her role as Marketing Assistant at Dry Otter Waterproofing. A college student and children’s book illustrator, she combines her love for storytelling and design to help share the Dry Otter message in fun and engaging ways. Jenna’s fresh perspective and positive energy make her a valued part of the team.

David brings a hands-on, strategic approach to leadership, shaped by his background in automotive service. A dedicated husband and father of three in Denver, NC, he channels his competitive drive into both foundation work and coaching his kids’ sports teams, while also applying his craftsmanship to custom hats and signed football helmets.

Michael Frazier

Inspector

Michael attended the Architectural Technology program at Wilkes Community College and has spent time as a Licensed Home Inspector and Real Estate Agent in North Carolina. He excels in identifying defects in homes, offering effective solutions with expertise in waterproofing. His hobbies are spending time with family, watching his son’s sports, golf, traveling, and lifelong learning.

Tom Gibbs

Inspector

Tom came to Dry Otter after a career as a truck driver and a home inspector. At Dry Otter, he builds great relationships with customers and checks the job sites for quality control. Tom loves hiking and playing golf. Tom lives with his beautiful wife in Charlotte.

Tyler, after his service in the U.S. Air Force, channeled his problem-solving passion into construction, excelling in building and renovations with unmatched attention to detail. Specializing in waterproofing, he offers economical, lifelong solutions. His interests include motorsports, hunting, fishing, guitar, and self-improvement.

Wesley Howell

Inspector

Wesley has worked in both the service and production side of Dry Otter Waterproofing and has now joined the Inspection Team. He has two beautiful daughters and a loving wife that he “does his best” for. If Wesley is not with his family, you can find him setting goals at the gym or hitting the slopes on his snowboard.

Before becoming an expert in waterproofing, Adam was a professional bodybuilder. Now he makes sure our crew members are well trained and up to date on proper waterproofing protocols. Adam loves spending time with his family. He has four grandchildren he loves to spoil.
